What We’re All About
Seeds of Early Learning Academy is a private, Reggio Emilia influenced, Early Childhood Education School. We serve and educate children from birth to kindergarten.
Our Academic Program adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our school, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Our Vision
Our Mission and Vision is reflected in the name of our school, Seeds of Early Learning Academy, as we are planting early seeds in children through intentional experiences that will nurture children’s sense of wonder and encourage rich learning. Our curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to learning, which is an educational approach committed to the creation of conditions for learning that will enhance and facilitate children’s construction of his or her own powers of thinking. The Reggio Emilia approach is student-centered and constructivist that utilizes self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. The program is based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery through a self-guided curriculum.
Why is Preschool Important?
Learning begins from the first breath an infant takes, and everything we expose the child to for the next five years significantly shapes their future and well being. The brain develops 90% in the first five years of life! The brain is like a sponge and children will soak up as much information as we expose them to. At SOELA, we set the standard for stimulating all the learning domains and impacting the whole child, by giving the child an environment that enriches and impacts their cognitive, social/emotional, and physical development. As the brain is developing it is shaping the child and creating their ability to function in society. We want to play a significant role in fostering confidence and love for learning and plant the seeds that will produce kind, responsible, confident leaders of tomorrow.
